Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are classes held and how much are they?

A: We are based in Chinnor and Terrick. See the Locations page for full address.
(30 mins) are £7, Regular (45 mins) are £9.

You can get a free pass and book on by visiting the Timetable page

Q: Do I need to bring anything?

A: Only yourself, a drink and a towel!

Q: I’ve never boxed before. Does that matter and will I be fit enough?

A: No boxing experience is required, everything is explained in class and its pretty straightforward to be honest. The beauty of our classes is that its just you and a punchbag. No one else takes any notice of anyone else and you get all of your stats fed back to your phone after class so you can track your improvement. (see below)

Q: What app do I need to download

A: The Corner Wearables app will give you feedback on your workout after class. Number of punches, speed, power etc.

If you download the app before coming to class please remember your password! For this reason we suggest using Boxing123
It’s not essential to have this but it’s a good motivator.

Q: I’m scared. Boxing sounds scary!?

A: No need to be at all. The makers of the trackers call the process ‘gamified boxing’ and we call our classes cardio boxing. The punchbags don’t hit you back so there is no need to be scared on that front.
The instructors are friendly and we all arrive at least 15 minutes before a class so are there to have a chat as well as a free coffee before class to put you at ease.

Q: What’s the difference between Express and Regular classes and what passes can I use for these?

A: Purely the length of class. Express is 30 mins, Regular is 45 mins.
You can use a Regular pass for either class but only an Express pass for an Express class.

Q: I see Team Up has an app. Should I get this?

A: Yes! There are a couple of advantages to the app over the browser. The app will give you a pop up notification if you are in a waiting list rather than sending an email. As you only get 30 mins to take the place this is useful.

Also the app will force you to decide what pass you are wanting to use for a class, rather than defaulting as it does on the browser.
